It’s time for the 2020 Census!  These resources can help you know what to expect, especially since the census will be going online for the first time this year.

Important Dates

  • March 12-20:  Invitations to respond to the 2020 Census will be delivered by mail. Once you receive that invitation, you can respond online, by phone, or by mail.
  • March 16 – mid April:  If you live in an area considered “hard to count”, census staff will physically deliver information on how to respond to the Census.
  • April 1:  Census Day.  No matter what day someone completes the Census survey, they should count everyone living in their household on April 1.
