Murder on Misty Island Murder Mystery Game for Tweens, Teens & Adults
December 29, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pmFree
On Saturday December 29th, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., tweens (kids aged 10 and up), teens and adults are invited to join us for another Murder Mystery Game event. Our mystery this time will be titled Murder on Misty Island. We apologize deeply to those of you who saw the News Review articles and thought it would be A Cajun Killing. We had done this one in May of 2018 and repeating it would leave out some people. This new game is a 2017 edition so for sure, we have not done it yet! The murder takes place in June 1985 on Misty Island, British Columbia, Canada. This class reunion lacked class and reunion. Eight loving “friends” arrived on their college housemother’s island for some rest and relaxation. Twelve hours later, Stephanie Stephens was dead, and they were suspects in her murder. No escape, no assistance, no TV. Solve the murder of attorney Stephanie Stephens before these college chums get you. Everyone’s a suspect when murder is on the menu. There are 8 suspects and each one gets a separate playbook with all the information to participate. Gertrud Hesseldorf–former housemother at the university and retired on Misty Island; Dave Bagshaw–5’2″ computer genius; Melinda Lehman–TV actress; Ken Muller–runs a chartered a fishing boat; John Allured–mystery/Hollywood script writer; Kristen Potter–class valedictorian and now a housewife; Rick Tuttle–Midwest businessman; and Monica Gestetner–neurosurgeon. If there are more than enough players, we can share playbooks or each group of 8 can do their own game. Information will be at the library so please sign up for a part. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
