Wednesday Storytime Stuffed Animal Sleepover Event
July 31 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
One event on July 20, 2019 at 10:00 am
On Wednesday July 31st , from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, we will have Story Hour and Family Playgroup in the Kids’ Area. Our theme will be sleepovers as we will have the Stuffed Animal Sleepover tonight. We will read Very Little Red Riding Hood, Starry Starry Night and Time to Sleep Sheep the Sheep! We will sing songs, have an activity, a nursery rhyme and make a small craft–get sleeping bags ready for our stuffed animals. Please bring your stuffed animal–make sure you don’t bring the one you cannot sleep without at home. You will leave this stuffed animal in his or her sleeping bag in a special spot at the library. We will take photos of what happens after the library is closed and the stuffed animals explore the library on their own. Will they stay up all night? What places will they explore? Please bring an adult to share the fun. Come back on Thursday to pick up your stuffed friend and its sleeping bag. We will have a group photo for each participant. We’ll have a set of photos of the animals’ antics for you to see in the Kids’ Area.
